FAQs about the course

The principles of Homeopathy were laid down by Samuel Hahnemann, a German physician, nearly 200 years ago, in his seminal work titled "The Organon of Medicine". These writings form the basis of all classical homeopathy, and should be the building block of all Homeopathic education.

At the Aroga School, all of our teaching is grounded in the principles of Classical Homeoopathy, and we do not teach anything that contradicts any of these principles.

Over the last 20 years there has been an upsurge in research into Homeopathic Theory. This has been long overdue, as the last major advancement prior to this had been by James Tyler Kent, over a hundred years ago. Most Homeopathic education is rooted in the teachings of Kent, and little is taught of the modern methods, apart from a few introductory lectures.

At the Aroga School we feel that this is unacceptable. For Homeopathy to consider itself a Science, it has to incorporate, and advance the modern developments. It is not enough to introduce the new methods to students and then expect them to go off and learn these methods by themselves on another course. We passionately believe that the modern methods represent the best means of curing patients, and therefore insist that our students graduate with a full working knowledge of these methods.
